Day 1 – Arrival & Yerevan Walking City Tour
Duration: 3–4 hours | Distance: 30 km | Meals: None
Arrival in the Land of NOAH. At Zvartnots International Airport, you will be welcomed by a representative of Santa Maria Tours and escorted to your hotel. Shortly after, your guide will meet you in the lobby to start your walking city tour of Yerevan.
Explore some of the oldest streets in one of the world’s oldest capitals, founded in the 8th century BC. Walk along Baghramyan Avenue, Mashtots Avenue, and Abovyan Street, noting century-old buildings and architectural landmarks. Visit the History Museum of Armenia to learn about the origins of the country.
Finish the tour at the Cascade Complex, a massive staircase with fountain terraces offering panoramic views of the Opera and Ballet Theater. The Cafesjian Center for the Arts houses an impressive collection of Armenian and international contemporary art, including works from Gerard L. Cafesjian’s personal collection.

Day 2 – Echmiadzin & Zvartnots Cathedral
Duration: 4–5 hours | Distance: 33 km | Meals: Breakfast
Today, visit Echmiadzin, Armenia’s 4th largest city and spiritual center of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Explore the Echmiadzin Cathedral, built in the early 4th century following Armenia’s adoption of Christianity as a state religion.
On the way back to Yerevan, stop at the 7th-century Zvartnots Cathedral, the largest aisled tetraconch church of historical Armenia. Despite being destroyed by an earthquake in the 10th century, the restored ruins offer a captivating glimpse into ancient Armenian architecture.

Day 3 – Sevanavank – Tsakhkadzor – Kecharis Monastery
Duration: 7–8 hours | Distance: 270 km | Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, travel to the Blue Pearl of Armenia – Lake Sevan, the largest lake in the Caucasus at 1,900 meters above sea level. Visit Sevanavank Monastery, perched on a small island offering spectacular lake views.
Continue to Tsakhkadzor, a scenic mountain town and center for skiing. Visit Kecharis Monastery, heavily damaged by the 1927 earthquake but now fully restored, showcasing Armenian medieval architecture.

Day 4 – Matenadaran Museum & Departure
Duration: 3–4 hours | Distance: 13 km | Meals: Breakfast
On the last day, visit Matenadaran, the repository of Armenian manuscripts, housing over 23,000 treasured documents. Continue to Vernissage Market and Victory Park, home to the statue of Mother Armenia.
Afterward, transfer to Zvartnots International Airport for your departure.
