Gelati Monastery Day Tour & Excursions from Tbilisi
We drive to Western Georgia. En there, we stop by the Ubisa Church, which has rare 14th-century murals. After Ubisa, we go to the ”Pottery Market” in Shrosha. Next, we go to the Gelati Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and explore the Gelati complex. Following Gelati, we visit the Bagrati Cathedral, another UNESCO-listed building. After visiting the church, we have two options: the Sataplia* cave, which contains dinosaur footprints, or the larger Prometheus cave. Drive back to Tbilisi.
