Sardarapat Memorial Tour
Today we will visit Sardarapat Memorial, a memorial complex dedicated to the Battle of Sardarapat in 1918, which is located in 30 km from Etchmiadzin. The entrance of the memorial is flanked by a huge winged oxen made of red tufa. A stairway leads us to a high bell tower with its twelve bells. The latter ring every year on the day of the historic victory. Return to Yerevan at the end of the day tour.
