Day 1 – Monsateries of Lori

Continue to Sanahin Monastery, another UNESCO-listed gem, historically a center of learning and spirituality, set on a lush plateau overlooking the Debed River, with multiple chapels, refectories, and intricately decorated khachkars (cross-stones). End the day at the Mikoyan Brothers House Museum in Alaverdi, celebrating the life and achievements of Anastas and Artem Mikoyan, legendary Soviet aircraft designers. Day 3 – Garni & Geghard

Explore Sevanavank Monastery, dating to the 9th century, perched on the peninsula overlooking the lake. Drive to Dilijan, the “Armenian Switzerland,” for a short walk in the charming Old Town and forested landscapes of Dilijan National Park. Visit the Red Deer Breeding Center, part of Armenia’s wildlife conservation. Continue to Haghartsin Monastery, a 13th-century spiritual complex restored in 2011 with support from the UAE.
