Day 1 – Arrival & Tbilisi Walking City Tour

Arrival at Tbilisi International Airport. Meet your guide and transfer to the hotel. Later, begin a walking city tour of Tbilisi, exploring the historic heart of the capital. Visit the 13th-century Metekhi Church, take the cable car to Narikala Fortress, stroll through the Botanical Garden, admire the Leghvtakhevi Waterfall, and explore the famous Abanotubani sulfur baths district. Along the way, discover local eateries, wine bars, and historic architecture.

Day 2 – Mtskheta, Gori & Uplistsikhe
Duration: 8–9 hours | Distance: 111 km | Meals: Breakfast
Start the day with a visit to Jvari Monastery, a 6th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site overlooking Mtskheta. Continue to Gori, birthplace of Joseph Stalin (optional visit to the Stalin Museum). Next, explore Uplistsikhe, an ancient cave city carved into rock and once a major hub along the Silk Road. On the return journey, stop in Mtskheta, Georgia’s ancient capital, and visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, another UNESCO-listed landmark. Free time for souvenir shopping before returning to Tbilisi.

Day 3 – Kakheti Wine Region: Ikalto, Alaverdi & Gremi
Duration: 9–10 hours | Distance: 309 km | Meals: Breakfast
Drive to the Kakheti Wine Region via the scenic Gombori Pass. Visit the medieval Ikalto Monastery and Academy, followed by Alaverdi Monastery, where monks still produce wine using traditional qvevri methods. Continue to Gremi, the former capital of Kakheti, and explore its fortress and Archangels Church. Enjoy wine tasting and lunch at a family-run winery in Zemo Alvani before returning to Tbilisi.
