Day 1 – Arrival & Yerevan Walking City Tour
Duration: 3–4 hours | Distance: 4 km | Meals: None
Arrive in the Land of Noah at Zvartnots International Airport, where your Santa Maria Tours representative will assist with immigration and transfer to your hotel. Your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby for a walking city tour in Yerevan, one of the world’s oldest capitals.
Stroll along Baghramyan Avenue, Mashtots Avenue, and Abovyan Street, visiting century-old houses and historical buildings. Continue to Victory Park for panoramic views of Mt. Ararat, and explore the Cascade Complex, a monumental stairway with terraces and fountains leading to the Opera and Ballet Theater. Visit the Cafesjian Center for the Arts showcasing Armenian and international contemporary art. End the day at Matenadaran Museum, housing over 23,000 ancient manuscripts.

Day 2 – Garni Temple & Geghard Monastery
Duration: 5–6 hours | Distance: 75 km | Meals: Breakfast
Travel to Garni Temple, the only Greco-Roman pagan temple in Armenia, built in the 1st century AD. Enjoy the dramatic views of Geghama Mountains and Azat River Gorge. Participate in traditional lavash bread-making in Garni village.
Continue to Geghard Monastery, carved into cliffs of the Azat Valley and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000. Visit the natural basalt formation, the Symphony of Stones, in the gorge of Azat River, and learn about its unique geological patterns. Return to Yerevan for overnight.

Day 3 – Sevan, Haghartsin & Goshavank Monasteries
Duration: 8–9 hours | Distance: 248 km | Meals: Breakfast
Drive to Sevan Lake, the “Blue Pearl of Armenia,” and visit Sevanavank Monastery atop a hill on the peninsula. Continue to Haghartsin Monastery, beautifully restored in 2011 with support from HH Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi.
End the day at Goshavank Monastery, known for its scenic forest location, the statue of Mkhitar Gosh, and its unique collection of embroidered khachkars (cross-stones). Return to Yerevan for overnight.
