Day 1 – Arrival & Yerevan Walking City Tour

Arrive in the Land of Noah and meet your Santa Maria Tours representative at Zvartnots International Airport. Transfer to your hotel in Yerevan, one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited capitals, founded in 782 BC (Erebuni).
Begin a guided walking tour through Yerevan’s historic streets, including Baghramyan, Mashtots, and Abovyan Avenues, featuring century-old houses and landmarks. Visit the History Museum of Armenia to learn about the country’s ancient civilization and heritage.
Continue to the Cascade Complex, an architectural masterpiece with terraces, fountains, and panoramic views over the Opera and Ballet Theater. Explore the Cafesjian Center for the Arts, showcasing Armenian and international contemporary art from the founder Gerard L. Cafesjian.

Day 2 – Garni, Geghard & Symphony of Stones
Duration: 5–6 hours | Distance: 75 km | Meals: Breakfast
Travel to Garni Temple, the only Greco-Roman pagan temple in Armenia, built in the 1st century AD and reconstructed after earthquake damage. Admire spectacular views of the Geghama Mountains and Azat River gorge.
Enjoy lunch in Garni village, with the opportunity to participate in preparing traditional Armenian lavash bread. Continue to Geghard Monastery, founded by Saint Gregory the Illuminator and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000, carved partly into the rock cliffs of Azat Valley.
Visit the natural wonder Symphony of Stones, basalt columns in the gorge of Azat River, and learn about their fascinating geological formation.
Return to Yerevan for overnight.
