Day 1 – Sanahin, Mikoyan Brothers House & Odzun Monastery
Duration: 8–9 hours | Distance: 225 km | Meals: None
Depart from Tbilisi and cross into Armenia, heading toward the scenic Lori Region. Your first stop is Sanahin Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the finest examples of medieval Armenian architecture, known for its academies, chapels, and harmonious stone design.
Continue to Alaverdi to visit the Mikoyan Brothers House Museum, dedicated to the lives and achievements of the famous Mikoyan brothers, including aircraft designer Artem Mikoyan.
Conclude the day at Odzun Monastery, a majestic 6th-century basilica located in the heart of Odzun village. Despite its age, the monastery remains remarkably well preserved and offers panoramic views of the surrounding plateau.
Arrive in Yerevan in the evening and check in to your hotel.

Day 2 – Saghmosavank, Alphabet Alley & Amberd Fortress
Duration: 7–8 hours | Distance: 160 km | Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, travel west toward the dramatic Kasagh River Gorge to visit Saghmosavank Monastery, perched on the edge of steep cliffs. Built in the 13th century by Prince Vache Vachutyan, the monastery offers breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere.
Continue toward the slopes of Mount Aragats, Armenia’s highest mountain. Stop at Alphabet Alley, a monument dedicated to the Armenian alphabet and its role in preserving national identity. With your guide’s help, find the letter of your name and capture a memorable photo.
The final stop is Amberd Fortress, a 10th-century stronghold located at 2,300 meters above sea level. Once a key defensive outpost protecting the medieval capital Ani, Amberd offers stunning mountain views and insight into Armenia’s military history.
Return to Yerevan in the evening.

Day 3 – Noratus, Sevanavank, Dilijan & Parz Lake – Return to Tbilisi
Duration: 8–9 hours | Distance: 270 km | Meals: Breakfast
Begin the day at Noratus Khachkar Cemetery, the largest collection of khachkars (cross-stones) in Armenia. Learn about their unique symbolism, craftsmanship, and spiritual meaning in Armenian Christian culture.
Continue to Lake Sevan, the “Blue Pearl of Armenia,” located at 1,900 meters above sea level. Visit Sevanavank Monastery, standing on a hilltop with panoramic views over the turquoise waters.
Travel onward to Dilijan, a charming town surrounded by the forests of Dilijan National Park. Take a short walk through nature before visiting the Red Deer Breeding Center, established in 2017 with the support of WWF and CNF to restore Armenia’s deer population.
